The UBS Center for Economics in Society regularly hosts public events on current socio-political topics. Wylkomm supports the UBS Center with event marketing.
The UBS Center for Economics in Society – UBS Center for short – is an associated institute at the Department of Economics at the University of Zurich. It was established in 2012, enabled by a founding donation by UBS, which the bank made on the occasion of its 150th anniversary. The UBS Center serves two main aims. First, it enables world-class research in economics on all levels, to be conducted at the University’s Department of Economics. The UBS Center’s other aim is to serve as a platform for dialogue between academia, business, politics, and the broader public, fostering continuous knowledge transfer.
The UBS Center’s events take place in a variety of formats, including two annual flagship conferences (Forum of Economic Dialogue and Economic Podium Switzerland) with leading representatives from academia and the private and the public sectors, discussing important and topical socially relevant issues. The Opinion events feature thought leaders from different fields who present their views in public speeches. The speakers are often high-profile personalities from Switzerland and abroad, including numerous Nobel Prize winners as well as decision-makers from politics and business.
Wylkomm supports the UBS Center with the communication around these challenging events. This includes both print and online media. We cover all communication tasks – from invitations, online and print advertising, as well as on-site event support to event reporting.
