Ten years of Wylkomm at a glance
Since Wylkomm was founded in 2016, we have grown at a steady pace. Our team has expanded over the years, bringing new expertise into the agency and making it possible to take on increasingly complex projects. What began as a sole proprietorship run from a desk at home has evolved into a communications agency with broad expertise, strong partnerships, and a clear direction. Every milestone tells part of this story.
2016–2019: Building the foundations with initiative
The early years are shaped by a great deal of initiative, close contact with clients, and intensive groundwork. What starts out small develops step by step into a communications agency with a growing network and an expanding project portfolio.
September 2016: Maura Wyler starts working on her first assignments from a desk at home
November 2016: Noelia Hedo joins the young company, initially on an hourly basis
December 2016: The sole proprietorship is established
May 2019: Natalia Wannhoff joins the team
June 2019: First shared workspace at Office Lab Spreitenbach
2020–2024: Challenges and ongoing development
The conversion into a limited liability company (GmbH) is an important step for Wylkomm’s future development. At the same time, the outbreak of the COVID-19 pandemic not only means lockdown and homeschooling, but also leads to many new assignments in crisis and science communication. Wylkomm emerges from the pandemic stronger than before and enters a new phase with communications expert Natascha Seitel on board.
The prolonged absence of founder Maura Wyler after a skiing accident in 2022 poses major challenges for Wylkomm. At the same time, this difficult period brings the team closer together and strengthens their shared sense of responsibility.
The move into the office premises in Remetschwil and the addition of further expertise lay the foundations for Wylkomm’s continued growth. And with Maura now fully trained as a mediator, the company is able to add mediation and conflict resolution to its range of services.
March 2020: Conversion into Wylkomm GmbH
April 2020: A strong pipeline of work despite the pandemic; the team juggles a heavy workload with childcare during lockdown
October 2020: Maura Wyler completes her basic training as a mediator
February 2022: Maura is involved in a skiing accident
November 2022: Natascha Seitel joins the team
November 2022: Move into the new office premises in Remetschwil
January 2023: Janine Stauffer joins the team
March 2023: Partnership with Xinfra for data security and professional IT
June 2023: Maura completes her advanced qualification as a business mediator
2025–2026: New partnerships and shared responsibility
At the beginning of 2025, Maura Wyler and Doris Hirth of Verbindlich GmbH take over the management of Allianz für das Gemeinwohl, strengthening Wylkomm’s presence in the nonprofit sector. At the end of 2025, Wylkomm becomes the communications partner for the Swiss Arbeitgeber Award, one of Switzerland’s most prestigious employer awards.
There are also some internal changes: while Maura, as founder and CEO, continues to shape the company’s strategic direction, Natascha Seitel takes over the operational management. This creates more scope to continue developing the agency and offering its clients close support.
January 2025: Maura Wyler becomes Co-Managing Director of Allianz für das Gemeinwohl
December 2025: Wylkomm becomes the official communications partner of the Swiss Arbeitgeber Award
January 2026: Natascha Seitel takes over the operational management
