The Annual Research Night is the flagship event of the Excellence Foundation Zurich, the foundation of the Department of Economics at the University of Zurich. Wylkomm has been responsible for the conception, design, and implementation of all communication measures around the event since its inception.
The Excellence Foundation Zurich – EFZH for short – is the foundation of the Department of Economics at the University of Zurich. Its purpose is to unite the best scientists at the Department of Economics in Zurich and to offer them the best possible conditions for top interdisciplinary research. To achieve its goal, the EFZH brings the Department together with companies, foundations, and private individuals. The resulting projects and partnerships cover a broad spectrum of economic topics.
Wylkomm was commissioned by EFZH to conceptualize and design the complete visual identity as well as the communication around the Annual Research Night, including invitation and follow-up. The event series was launched on the occasion of EFZH’s 10th anniversary in 2021 and has been held every autumn since then. The event is characterized by top-class speakers – e.g., Nobel laureate Michael Kremer or Pulitzer Prize winner Anne Applebaum – and a high-profile audience, consisting of representatives from politics, business, and academia.
