Since 2017, Maura Wyler has regularly contributed to the Oec. Magazine, published by the Faculty of Business, Economics and Informatics at the University of Zurich. Her work blends thorough research, thought-provoking commentary, and interviews with key figures from academia, business, and politics \u2013 always with journalistic precision and an eye for complexity.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

As a writer for the Oec. Magazine, Maura Wyler has been shedding light on pressing societal issues since 2017. Her work stands out for its mix of investigative reporting, sharp editorials, and conversations with thought leaders.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Among those she has interviewed are Lukas R\u00fchli, Senior Fellow and Head of Smart Government at Avenir Suisse, with whom she discussed political resilience in times of crisis, and Urs Lehmann, President of Swiss Ski and economist, who offered insights on leadership at the intersection of elite sports and management. She has also spoken with numerous researchers from the faculty \u2013 covering labor market experts, behavioral economists, and climate policy specialists.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In her article \u201cThe Joy of Generosity,\u201d<\/em> she explores the role of philanthropy in society and how giving not only benefits the community but also enhances personal well-being \u2013 drawing on recent behavioral science research. Other pieces address the so-called \u201cchild penalty\u201d and its impact on gender equality, the debate on economic resilience during crises, and the importance of diversity in organizations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
